Introducing the arts to children at a young age expands a child's ability to connect with the world around them by introducing skills such as, communication and problem-solving. The Boys & Girls Club of Laredo offers a variety of programs in the arts that are designed to cultivate creativity in our youth, and give them a means for self-expression and building confidence. From visual art to music, our kids will find a safe place to practice and become great.

Arts & Crafts

The Boys & Girls Club of Laredo offers a wide variety of fun and easy arts & crafts activities, in which members can use their own hands to inspire and exercise their creativity. Art instruction promotes the development of motor skills, language and social skills, decision-making, and inventiveness in our children, and teaches students to be more careful and thorough in how they observe the world around them. Our goal is to give kids the ability to express themselves through the creation of art in a safe and stable environment. Some of the projects include necklace workshops, model cars, greeting cards, drawing, painting, and sculpture.
